I found this interesting! I've been around politics and politicians most of my adult life. Most are more than ready to assume command; hell, they'll take charge of the restroom! I love the dust-up between Cheney and Obama. Cheney reads him like a book. Man up Barry.
I actually believe the lack of executive experience is really beginning to undermine this guy. Clearly he's played big league ball in Chicago; they don't play any other kind there. But making decisions and being caught with responsibility is different. You can't pretend it was some other guy. Lawmakers aren't executives. I've watched both perform and it's different art.
Prediction alert: Obama will continue to make behind the scene decisions; then look for a scapegoat. Panetta may have been convinced to not jump ship . . . yet. addam
